The Song of Lost Fibres

Production : Scène de recherche ENS Paris-Saclay
"On the beach in the sun, plastic washes up.
Tells its story in the printed sand'.
These verses open the show, which is an original collaboration between a philosopher, an artist and an actress. It invites the audience to reflect on the ecological and technological changes of our time, while providing a powerful aesthetic and emotional experience. Blending poetry, theatre, and visual art, the performance questions the impact of plastics and artificial generative intelligences on the human world.
The philosopher explores our relationship with a plastic-saturated environment — a symbol of the modern age of disposability and pollution. His words are accompanied by visual projections created by the artist using distorted and manipulated images of plastic waste generated by artificial intelligence.
